Minitube Human ART at the annual meeting of German IVF centers
The annual meeting of German IVF centers took place in Hamburg on November 22-23, bringing together approximately 300 participants, including physicians and embryologists. Minitube Human ART was proud to participate with its own booth, where our representatives, Paul Gassner and Michael Penker, showcased our latest innovations and trusted products, including the HTiG control unit and the new heated glass insert for Nikon microscopes, Steripette, culture dishes and cassettes. The response was highly encouraging, with attendees expressing strong interest in all the products on display.
The event combined a rich exhibition area with 35 exhibitors and a diverse conference program. The program kicked off on Friday morning with a welcome session, followed by three focused sessions throughout the afternoon. The day concluded with a festive evening at Hamburg's historic Zollhaus, providing an excellent opportunity for networking in a relaxed and social atmosphere.
Saturday's agenda was highlighted by the presentation of the latest data from the German IVF Registry (DIR). For the first time, the 2023 statistics included figures on insemination - an area where data collection is still rare internationally. According to the DIR, 47 out of 143 German IVF centers reported a total of 15,438 insemination cycles in 2023. Extrapolated, this translates to approximately 47,000 IUI cycles across Germany, compared to 67,118 IVF and ICSI cycles. In addition to the data presentation, Saturday's program included interesting presentations on topics such as Germany in European Comparison, Updates from the Embryo Donation Network, "Boomers meet Generation Y".
Minitube Human ART would like to thank everyone who visited our booth and looks forward to continuing the dialog!
