Underdogs with potential
It does its job inconspicuously, is virtually indestructible and often indispensable in daily routine: a series of “in-words” and a description of the “underdog warming plate” which is as positive as it is true.
Made of aluminum, Minitube warming plates are a classic among laboratory devices, present in almost every IVF lab. Their black anodization makes them scratch-resistant and easy to clean even after years of use. Their flat design makes them a perfect fit for any workplace.
Temperature control is achieved by connecting them to the universal control units of the HTi family. This allows the warming plates to be controlled in a range between ambient temperature and 55°C with an accuracy of ± 0.1°C. The spatial temperature deviation over the surface is very low - just ± 0.5°C. The new HTi control units offer new and useful features such as an alarm if temperature is out of range or temperature logging for quality control purposes.
Depending on the version, a HTi can control one, two or four warming plates independently. If required, a heated microscope stage can be elegantly combined with a warming plate next to the microscope. Minitube offers the warming plates in a range of different formats, creating high flexibility (dimensions indicated as length x width x thickness):
For those who like things simple, we offer an "all-in-one" warming plate, dimensions 470 x 260 x 10 mm, which does not require a control unit. The temperature is fixed at 37°C (± 0.5°C).
Whether for warming follicle aspiration tubes in the operating theatre, for tempering native samples in the andrology lab or for short-term storage of dishes next to the microscope in an IVF lab – Minitube warming plates will add value to your procedures. Reasons enough to put these “underdogs” in the spotlight. We would be happy to provide you with a quote or answer any questions you may have.
