Minitube Human ART on the road: from California to Berlin

The end of this busy congress year was marked by two congress highlights.

At the end of October, we celebrated our premiere at the ASRM Scientific Congress and Expo in Anaheim, California. The Minitube team, consisting of American and German IVF experts, presented among others the MultiCoder, the CryoSealer and the new HTi control unit for heating systems. Especially the live demonstrations of the devices attracted great interest from the more than 8000 international visitors. After this year's stimulating and intense meeting, we are very excited to be back to ASRM 2023 in New Orleans, Louisiana. You will find Minitube Human ART at booth # 137.

Immediately after ASRM we headed for Berlin to attend the annual meeting of the German IVF centers. About 400 physicians and embryologists attended an interesting lecture program, which was held under the motto "Less is More". Our booth attracted lots of visitors and again the MultiCoder was in the focus of interest. A highlight was the festive evening in the "Alte Pumpe", a sewage pumping station in Berlin, which has been converted into an event location. The Fertilizers, an "IVF specialist rock band", provided great entertainment. Traditionally, the last meeting day is the day of presenting last year´s IVF statistics, summarized in the yearbook of the German IVF Registry. Once more, the number of treatments could be increased, now peaking at 78,363 fresh treatment cycles and 36,909 transfers from frozen PN stages or embryos. Impressive: the mean clinical pregnancy rate after frozen embryo transfer (30.4 %) is now almost equaling clinical pregnancies in fresh treatment cycles (mean 31.8 %).
